Scale-texture-digital-illustration-provocation-photography

Scale

this is an advert for babybel using scale in a way to make the people in the advert look small compared to
everything else for example the cheese, the cow, the bucket etc.
it may be a good advert for the fact that it may amuse people and urge them to maybe go out to the shop
and buy the product it is advertising.
Some people may not like the advert therefore it would have the opposite effect on them.

texture.

This advert for comfort fabric conditioner uses texture to catch the audiences attention by making the characters
they've created look like they are made by a fabric and that they benefit when they use the product
Also as well as the characters other things on the poster are based on material .

digital.

This advert for coca-cola uses digital animation to advertise . Some people may like this advert because
of how it is made and it is not a serious advert in the way it is insects stealing the product , the advertisers
used this way of advertising to show that a range of people like coca cola.

Illustration.

This is an advert for audi , it is an illustration of a banana/squid which may well be totally irelevant
but at the same time makes the viewer think about what is going on in the advert leading to them seeing
the audi logo and immediately knowing it is an ad for cars.
It is not good because if the viewer doesn't take the time to analyze the advert they will have no knowledge
on it apart from that it is a weird illustration.

Provocation.

army1703_468x412.jpg

This is an advert for the army it is provocational because when you look at the ad and read "BE THE BEST"

it may make you think that you could be the best if you joined the army therefore it provokes you into

believing .

Although the ad is still quite vague by just saying "ARMY" "BE THE BEST" .

Photography.

information Graphics

Information graphics are the visual representation of information and data, theyre used to quickly and clearly shown there's lots of uses for it for example a map of railway lines, graphs to show businesses income , road maps or as a kid of blueprint for a building, object or idea.
The image on the left is an information graphic for the different parts of a plane.

This one below which is also an information graphic is more recognised and known to people.

There are lots of other kinds of information graphics, like graphs , tables (Mathematical/informative) .
All that is needed for an information graphic is knowledge or data/information then this can be used to create any kind of information graphic.

Here is a totally different kind of information graphic showing a cycle of events made with paint. It isn't made to be an accurate drawing and is different to others this makes it interesting and unique also it clearly tells what is happening in the cycle.

This pie-chart is done in a more fun way also , using to main bright colours (red/blue) to create a pie chart about the different kinds of dreams . The key used is red=bad blue=good because of the kind of simplicity of it it makes it alot easier to read the information and also makes it quite interesting.

this is a interactive information graphic to do with the amount of energy products in the home use. All the symbols for the appliances are fairly simple designs but show clearly which each appliance is. Its quite interesting because there are alot of variables that you can change and see different information, it works almost like a calculator.

Viral Advertising

Viral advertising is a way of advertising , it is short video clips that are so eye catching a advertisers work is usually done for them when their customers forward it to their clients then they forward to others and so on.
The ideal campaign is edgy, surprising, original, erotic and emotional – and taps into popular culture.
the name kind of explains it , the advert spreads like a virus to a massive number of people.

here is a few examples of viral advertising :-

here is an ad from cadburys which features a gorilla playing the drums , this is a good example of a viral ad because it shows how popular a ad can become through being on the internet.

Here is a different kind of viral advert .

This was a discount voucher leaked by threshers via the internet , the voucher was only intended for suppliers and threshers was worried about losing money , the voucher became more and more popular and no doubt in the end they ended up making a huge profit on the voucher and more publicity in one month than they had in a year.

This is a advert for john west salmon which first aired on T.v then became a highly watched internet video gathering alot of publicity . Its a humerous advert which makes it a good way to advertise because people will see it and relate the product to the humour of the advert which could therefore cause them to purchase the product .

Ebay viral ad

This is a viral advert for ebay which uses stop motion, It is quite a unique advert but done in an eye catching
way to grab the viewers attention.

Anti smoking ad

This picture shows a picture of a woman who looks quite old and is lighting a cigarette of her birthday cake on which is the number 42 , this is to show us that smoking can cause pre mature aging of the skin and isn't good for your health.

This image is an anti smoking ad showing smoke from a cigarette forming into a gun which is pointing at a smokers head as if to show that smoking will kill you. also using the smoke emphasizes that smoke is dangerous and very harmful to the human body.

Drink driving campaign

This is a drink driving campaign poster which cleverly uses an empty pint glass as the focal point with the clever slogan "when will you have had too much?" . Also the campaigns logos at both bottom corners of the page saying "THINK!" if someone read this it would make them think twice about drink driving.

This is a T.V advert to make people understand the risks of drink driving. The content in this ad makes you know that obvioulsy drink driving has its number of risks and are all made clear . The way the camera focuses on the bar tender and blocks most background noise this makes the ad more to the point.
