Viral Advertising

Viral advertising is a way of advertising , it is short video clips that are so eye catching a advertisers work is usually done for them when their customers forward it to their clients then they forward to others and so on.
The ideal campaign is edgy, surprising, original, erotic and emotional – and taps into popular culture.
the name kind of explains it , the advert spreads like a virus to a massive number of people.

This was a discount voucher leaked by threshers via the internet , the voucher was only intended for suppliers and threshers was worried about losing money , the voucher became more and more popular and no doubt in the end they ended up making a huge profit on the voucher and more publicity in one month than they had in a year.




This is a advert for john west salmon which first aired on T.v then became a highly watched internet video gathering alot of publicity . Its a humerous advert which makes it a good way to advertise because people will see it and relate the product to the humour of the advert which could therefore cause them to purchase the product .

This is a viral advert for ebay which uses stop motion, It is quite a unique advert but done in an eye catching
way to grab the viewers attention.
